On April 12th, the team at Rhode Island KidsCount released the 2010 Fact Book to a room filled with over 500 people made up of policy makers, providers, legislative leaders, youth and families.  This invaluable resource is what we all turn to in order to understand what is needed in the neighborhoods where we live and work.  For 16 years, we at Children’s Friend have relied on this resource to help us plan how we can better respond to the changing needs of the community. 

The event is a heart warming reminder of the remarkable commitment of Rhode Island to the needs of its children.  Whether we are looking at our legislative team, tireless and passionate advocates, or local collaboration efforts …one thing is resoundingly clear: 

Rhode Island has many champions when it comes to our kids.
