The 9th Annual Children's Friend Walk-Run sponsored by Panera Bread is just over two weeks away!  And, the excitment here at the agency is mounting as we work to make this year's walk the best walk ever!  The Roger Williams Park Carousel is the place to be on Saturday, May 7 as walkers and runners alike take to the park to raise money to support Rhode Island's youngest and most vulnerable children.

The agenda for the day is promising fun for the entire family.   We have our famous Kids Race around the carousel followed by opening ceremonies that include Frank Carpano from NBC-10 Sports, Mayor Angel Taveras and our wonderful partners from Panera Bread.  Immediately following opening ceremonies, we will kick off the Walk-Run.  After the Walk-Run,  we have lined up some great entertainment that is sure to please the entire family - Adonis Da Don, the Peace Peformers, Mr. Deep Positivity and Rythm Room. There will be clowns, face painting, yoga for kids, mini golf... and, of course, lots of food from our Panera Bread team.
