When violence rips through a community, everyone is effected ... our children, our families, our staff. The recent violence in Providence has effected all of us.  

Children's Friend is working diligently to keep the lines of communication open with our staff and our families and we are strengthening community partnerships in order to keep our children, our families, and our staff safe. 

Violence is not acceptable. Our children deserve to grow up in a safe and peaceful environment where we promote their well-being and healthy development.We need to keep our children safe...we need to nurture them and take care of them.  We need to teach nonviolent conflict resolution at an early age to ensure that we develop our children into young peaceful adults.   Community violence effects everyone.  We must all work together to keep our communities safe.
