Expansion Blog – July 6th

Children’s Friend was awarded the WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) contract for Pawtucket and Central Falls. This week Children’s Friend will begin providing services under the WIC program. This is a significant addition to our programs and services for families.

Our goal is to provide this important nutrition program in a flexible, family friendly, and effective manner. We are working to integrate WIC services into our existing system of care for vulnerable families.

We will work diligently to ensure that as many eligible children and mothers as possible get these benefits.
