Our pre-service training program for employees hired into our expanded Family Support program begins today. We are very excited to join with so many professional, qualified, dedicated, and caring new employees.

The training program we have organized is unique and multi-faceted. While the actual training sessions will take place in many locations, a local university will be the “home base” for the program. The presenters and facilitators include a variety of community agencies and early care and education professionals.

We will spend the next 3 weeks in training and getting to know each other. Through the culture we hope to initiate during this training period, we will start a process of sharing information and learning from one another as well.

We are in a great position to begin providing high-quality and effective Head Start services to the community on September 8, 2009.
