Payroll Associate
Description: Under the direction of the HR Coordinator processes the bi-weekly payroll for 400 employees.  This includes examining time sheets, data entry, and verification of data, answering manager’s and employee’s questions regarding the payroll.    Qualifications: High School diploma required.  At least one year’s experience in payroll processing required, experience with ADP preferred.  Attention to detail critical to the position.

Project Connect Worker
Description: Qualified staff to work with substance affected families involved in the child welfare system within an intensive home based model.  Provide strengths-based interventions, recovery-focused counseling  and support within a family systems model.  Work as a part of a multi- disciplinary team.     Qualifications: Masters Degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Agency Counseling, and/or a related field.  Will consider Bachelors Degree with at least 3 years  experience and/or licensure in a related field.  Experience with high risk families and/or substance affected families necessary.  Bilingual ability a plus.

Development Data Assistant
Description:Assists Director of Advancement with development activities.   Responsible for data entry and insuring that the data base is accurate and up-to-date.  Generates reports and correspondence. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree preferred as is experience with Raiser’s Edge software. Strong background in general office procedures including typing, computer use, and data entry required.

Billing Coordinator
Description: Prepares and submits third party billings for clients to various entities both public and private including, but not limited to, following up on any claim denials and collecting co-pays from clients. Qualifications: High School Diploma required.  An Associate’s Degree and previous third-party billing preferred.

Clinical Social Worker, Family Counseling Program
Description:Provide comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of children, parents, and families.  Provide individual, family, and group therapy to clients of the Family Counseling Program. Maintain accurate client records and complete all necessary documentation within established program time frames.  Maintain productivity standard.   Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited school. Must be licensed in RI at the highest level possible, based on degree and experience. Must have a good working knowledge of clinical social work services with children and families. Development Associate, PT Temporary (6 Months)
Description: Assists the Development Director in building positive relationships with donors and other individuals, including soliciting individuals or entities for donations as approved by the Development Director    Qualifications:  At least a high school diploma with 5 years of development or marketing experience.  A Bachelor’s degree with 1 years experience in development or marketing may be substituted.

Temporary (6 months) Project Connect Supervisor
Description: Supervises assigned team members in working with substance affected families involved in the child welfare system within an intensive home based model.  Provide strengths-based interventions, recovery-focused counseling and support within a family systems model to assigned caseload.  Work as a part of a multi- disciplinary team.     Qualifications: At least a Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related field and 2 years experience with high risk families and/or substance affected families’ necessary.  2 years supervisory experience required.  LICSW, RCS, LMHC preferred and Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Temporary (6 Months) Part time Project Connect Parenting Specialist
Description: Works with substance affected families involved in the child welfare system within an intensive home based model. Provides strengths-based interventions, recovery-focused parent education  and support within a family systems model.  Works as a part of a multi- disciplinary team.  Qualifications:A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field and at least 1 year of experience with high risk families and/or substance affected families necessary. Bilingual ability (English/Spanish) preferred.

Temporary (6 Months) Parent Involvement and Community Partnership Specialist
Description:Assists in both the recruitment and enrollment of clients in the Head Start program. Provides referrals to other Children’s Friend programs. Prepares all required documentation. Qualifications:A High School diploma, with at least one year’s experience working with high-risk families, including homelessness, domestic violence, mental health issues.  A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.  Proof of a physical examination, not less than two years old, indicating either the candidate can work without restrictions or detailing the restrictions. A Negative TB test not less that than six months old.  For women 35 years or younger, proof of measles, mumps and rubella immunization or immunity.

FCCP Intake Worker (Temporary 6 months)
Description: Processes and screens applicants and referral to the FCCP.  Performs home visits as assigned.  Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.     Qualifications: At least an Associate’s in Social Work, Child Development or a related field with 1 year’s experience.  Bachelors preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

First Connections Supervisor
Description:Provide oversight and leadership of the First Connections program;  a home visiting program comprised of nurses and social workers aimed to provide early support and education to vulnerable infants and their families as they arrive home from the hospital, and young children identified by DCYF (CAPTA program) and other community based programs. Qualifications: Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Social Work, Nursing, or Family Studies. Must have supervisory experience, and expertise in working with infants, young children, and at-risk families.   Must have a valid driver’s license, a car to be used for work related tasks and auto liability insurance.

Early Child Care Center/ Head Start Head Teacher  
Description: Oversee all daily operations of an Early Child Care/Head Start center.  Work with area supervisor and staff to implement a curriculum based on best practice.  Insure site is in compliance with all Head Start standards, childcare standards, state and federal regulations as applicable.  Perform tasks necessary to maintain a high quality childcare facility that supports the development of young children. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in early childhood or special education; and/or certificate in early childhood education from RIDE.  Ability to organize and plan activities, establish warm, supportive relationships and provide a wide variety of stimulating and developmentally appropriate experiences for children.

Interpreter / Nurse-Family Partnership Program
Description: Provide interpretation and translation for program staff in the Nurse-Family Partnership program. Services provided in the office and in client’s home. Qualifications: High School graduate. Must have translation experience. Experience working with infants, children and at risk families preferred.  Valid Driver’s license required.

Clinical Social Worker / Nurse-Family Partnership Program (part- time)
Description:  Provide clinical consultation and support to staff within the Nurse-Family Partnership program.  Participate in home visits as needed. Qualifications:Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field.  LICSW or equivalent preferred.  Experience with child and maternal health and experience with at risk families.  Valid Driver’s license required.

Family Service Care Coordinator - FSCC
Description: Qualified staff to work with at risk children, youth and families in the Wrap Around model. Population could include children and families, youth exiting/transitioning from the RI Training School, SED (severely emotionally disturbed) children and adolescents, high risk families in need of intensive intervention. Provide crisis intervention, strengths-based assessment, home-based and community based intervention, service coordination and support. Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Child Development or a related field, or equivalent education and experience. Experience with high risk families a plus. Bilingual ability a plus.

Nurse Supervisor - Nurse-Family Partnership Program
Description:  Provide reflective supervision and leadership for nurses and home visitors in the Nurse-Family Partnership program.  Work closely with the Director of health and Nutrition to see that all elements and principles of the NFP model are adhered to.
Qualifications:  Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with current RI license.  Master’s Degree preferred.  Must have supervisory experience, experience with child and maternal health and  experience with at risk families.  Valid Driver’s license required.

Nurse Home Visitor / Nurse-Family Partnership Program
Description: Provide nurse home visiting services for high risk, first time mothers and babies enrolled in the Nurse-Family Partnership program.
Qualifications: Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with current RI license. Must have experience working with infants, children and at risk families.  Valid Driver’s license required.

Male Involvement Specialist/Dads Making a Difference Program
Description: Provide culturally competent home-based case management services for families participating in the Dads Making a Difference Program. Participate in agency and community-based parent/child activities to promote positive nurturing interactions between fathers and their children. Co-facilitate father’s support group and parenting classes.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field or equivalent education and/or experience. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Experience working with fathers a plus. Must have valid driver’s license, required liability limits, and a car for use in work related tasks.

Nutrition Supervisor 
Provide leadership and supervision to Nutrition staff within the Head Start Program. Successful candidate
will participate in all aspects of food safety, menu planning, and participate in the bid process for catering
services. Candidate will have knowledge of the nutritional needs of young children, and have the ability to develop nutrition plans for children with special dietary needs. Must have a Bachelor’s degree and RD license. Supervisory experience preferred and expertise with working with children and families.

Bilingual Family Support Worker
BA in Social Work, Child Development, or related field, and experience working with at-risk families.  Provide culturally competent home-based services including case management, parent-child activities and education, child development, vocational development, and crisis intervention for expectant parents and families with children from birth-five years of age.  Collaborate with other members of multidisciplinary team. Co-facilitate parent-child socialization group. Bilingual, must demonstrate fluency in English and Spanish, Cape Verdean Creole, or Portuguese.

Family Development Supervisor
Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in Social Work, Early Childhood Education, or related field. Minimum 5 years experience working with at-risk families and 2 years experience in supervising staff. Bilingual ability in English and Spanish, Cape Verdean Creole, or Portuguese preferred. Provide weekly direct supervision to program staff, including performance evaluations, participate in the recruiting, hiring, orientation and support of all direct staff, and ensure program staff provide culturally competent, quality services in compliance with Early Head Start/Head Start regulations. Assume a leadership role in ensuring that integration of services for families is provided by all staff in the home, center, and community.  Collaborate and promote intra agency and inter agency relationships between programs, external providers, and community resources.

Dietician
Provide nutrition services to children, birth to three, with developmental delay, disabilities, and/or special health care needs in the home and/or community.   Responsibilities include; case management, assessment of nutritional and feeding skills, development and monitoring of plans to address nutritional needs, implementation of service plans through education, coaching and modeling to adult caregivers, and providing consultation to multi- disciplinary team.  Experience working with children from birth to three, home visiting.  Minimally Bachelor’s Degree in nutrition or dietetics from an accredited/approved program and Licensed as a Registered Dietician by Department of Health.   Home visiting experience preferable.

Social Worker
Provide community-based services to children, birth to three, with developmental delay, disabilities, and/or special health care needs.   Case management, assessment of development, and implementation of service plan through education, coaching and modeling to adult caregivers and providing consultation to multi- disciplinary team.    Experience working with children from birth to three years of age.  Strong clinical skills in assessment and working with families with multiple psychosocial stressors.  Master’s degree from an accredited social work program and license by the Rhode Island Department of Health.   Home visiting experience preferable.

Speech and Language Pathologist
Provide community-based speech and language services to children, birth to three, with developmental delay, disabilities, and/or special health care needs in the home and/or community.   Case management, assessment of speech and language and overall development, implementation of service plans through education, coaching and modeling to adult caregivers, facilitating group services and providing consultation to multi- disciplinary team.  Experience working with children from birth to three years of age.  RI Licensed as a Speech and Language Pathologist by Department of Health and graduate from Board approved program however, new graduates encouraged to apply, will provide supervision for Clinical Fellowship..   Home visiting experience preferable.

Registered Nurses
Provide community-nursing services to children, birth to three, with developmental delay, disabilities, and/or special health care needs in the home and/or community.   Case management, assessment of heath status and development, implementation of service plans through education, coaching and modeling to adult caregivers, monitoring child’s health needs and providing consultation.   Experience working with children from birth to three years of age.  Home visiting experience preferable.Licensed as a Registered Nurse by Department of Health and graduate from Board approved and accredited nursing program.  

Early Intervention Occupational Therapist
Provide occupational therapy services to children, birth to three, with developmental delay, disabilities, and/or special health care needs in the home and/or community.  Work as member of a disciplinary team. Minimum of Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program and professional license from the RI Department of Health.

Early Intervention Physical Therapist
Provide physical therapy services to children, birth to three, with developmental delay, disabilities, and/or special health care needs in the home and/or community.  Work as member of a disciplinary team.  Minimum of Bachelor’s degree from a Board approved Physical Therapy program and professional license from the RI Department of Health

Teacher Assistant 3
Associates level (AA in ECE or enrolled in BA ECE program) early childhood education teacher assistant to provide high quality classroom services to preschool program. Work with the lead/associate teacher to develop and implement curriculum based on best practice standards. Ensure implementation of DCYF childcare and Head Start regulations. Provide developmentally appropriate and stimulating activities with children.

Teacher Assistant 2
Child Development Associate credential (CDA) needed or currently enrolled in an Associates in Early Childhood degree program. Work with the lead/associate teacher to develop and implement curriculum based on best practice standards. Ensure implementation of DCYF childcare and Head Start regulations. Provide developmentally appropriate and stimulating activities with children.

Teacher Assistant 1
High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years of early childhood experience/setting.  Work with the lead/associate teacher to develop and implement curriculum based on best practice standards. Ensure implementation of DCYF childcare and Head Start regulations. Provide developmentally appropriate and stimulating activities with children.

Associate Teacher
Associates level early childhood education teacher (or BA /MEd/MA and coursework in early childhood education) to plan and organize developmentally appropriate experiences/activities for children, establish warm and supportive relationships, work with the head teacher to implement curriculum based on best practices. Ensure classroom compliance with DCYF regulations and Head Start performance standards. Orient, train and supervise teacher assistants.

Lead Teacher
Bachelors degree or Masters degree in early childhood education or Bachelor’s degree in related field with 18 credits in Early Childhood Education level Teacher to plan and organize developmentally appropriate experiences/activities for children, establish warm and supportive relationships, work with the head teacher to implement curriculum based on best practices. Ensure classroom compliance with DCYF regulations and Head Start performance standards. Orient, train and supervise teacher assistants.

Receptionist
Secretary/Bilingual (Spanish): HS Graduate with knowledge of general office procedures, including good typing, computer, telephone, data entry and filing skills to provide administrative support and reception duties to childcare and other program sites in the community. Ability to develop the capacity to provide other skills as necessary to provide efficient support services for the agency.
