Job OpportunitiesTitle: Supervisor of Project Connect (Temporary 6 Month Position) Reports To: Director of Family Preservation Supervises: Masters and Bachelor’s level professionals within a multidisciplinary team Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field. At least 2 years experience with at-risk families, substance abuse, and service coordination. At least 2 years supervisory experience required. LICSW, RCS, or LMHC preferred. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance in an amount acceptable to Children’s Friend. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Abilities: Able to work constructively with clients, agency staff, and other service providers. Able to provide leadership and direction to team members and clients. Duties and Responsibilities Receives and reviews cases from DCYF workers; assess each referral per program standards and guidelines and assign cases to staff as required. Develops and implements a service plan for each family per the program’s guidelines and standards. Assesses client’s substance abuse problems; works with clients to develop an active recovery plan and links clients to appropriate services. Maintains contacts with all other service providers and/or involved entities. Coordinates case conferences on a clinically appropriate schedule. Prepares all needed reports, including progress reports, termination summaries, and insures that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date per the program’s guidelines and the agency’s policies. Distributes reports and documentation to all appropriate parties. Supervises assigned staff members as required but at least weekly to insure all staff are meeting program and agency standards. Serve as a back-up to Project Manager and/or staff during vacation, absences, etc. Provide evening supervisory coverage on a rotating basis. Participates in committees and meetings as assigned. Consistently meets established productivity expectations for the program including 11 contact hours per week. Other duties as assigned. |
