Job Opportunities

Title:   Coordinator, Quality Assurance / Utilization review

Reports to:   Professional Practice Manager

Qualifications:   Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Education, Nursing, or a related field. Must have very strong organizational, and communication skills. Must have experience working with
child and family-serving programs, as well as accreditation and evaluation experience.  

Duties

 

  1. Actively participate on the Quality Assurance and Utilization review Committee. .
  1. Coordinate agency activities and processes in support of continuous quality improvement.
  1. Actively participate on the Safety Committee.
  1. Review and monitor incident reports and develop recommendations to improve safety throughout the agency.
  1. Track and monitor compliance with the Council on Accreditation Standards.
  1. Play an active role in the accreditation process.
  1. Review and monitor compliance with HIPAA and the agency’s privacy and confidentiality policies. Be a resource to other staff members.
  1. Track and monitor compliance with Head Start Performance Standards.
  1. Track and monitor compliance with DCYF Licensing Standards.
  1. Track compliance with requirements and conditions in all funding contracts.
  1. Assist programs in obtaining specific accreditations, credentialing, and certifications.
  1. Work with other staff and programs to incorporate results from QA/UR activities into professional development opportunities and supervisory routines.
  1. Monitor systems to ensure that program evaluation data is submitted timely and accurately.
  1. Review and incorporate outcomes from program evaluations in the quality improvement process.
  1. Interact effectively and respectfully with others and particularly with individuals whose backgrounds and life experiences are different from one’s own.
  1. Contribute to the overall success quality of the program by working constructively and collaboratively with other staff members to address programmatic or agency-wide issues and needs.
  1.  Constructively utilize formal and peer supervision to evaluate and improve effectiveness in providing services to clients.  This includes active participation in supervision, team meetings and agency meetings
  1. Other duties as assigned.
