Children’s Friend 175th Annual Meeting

This year Children’s Friend celebrates 175 years of serving Rhode Island’s most vulnerable children.  Join us for this historic annual meeting.  Enjoy refreshments, catch a sneak peak at our traveling historical photo exhibit and hear about our exciting plans for the future.

We hope to see you at the Providence Public Library, 150 Empire Street on Wednesday, May 13, 2009.   Arrive at 3:00 p.m. to enjoy the reception.  The annual meeting will be called to order at 3:30 p.m.

As a special treat for this once-in-a-lifetime event, the Providence Public Library will be opening their grand main entrance on Washington Street for us.  Come and be  a part of this milestone in the history of child welfare in Rhode Island.
