Children's Friend Appoints Kelly Wishart as
Administrator, Professional Development & Quality

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – David Caprio, Executive Director of Children’s Friend, has announced that Kelly Wishart has joined the agency as Administrator, Professional Development & Quality.

In her new role, Wishart is responsible for working with agency leaders and community members to support the organization’s systems to ensure that effective and efficient services are provided to all children and families served by the agency.  Using research-based best practices, high quality program evaluations and internal review processes, Kelly will support the organization’s management team in delivering high quality programs and services.

Prior to joining Children's Friend, Wishart was Director of Solutions for Children, Youth, Families Community Impact Work at the United Way of Rhode Island.

“We are delighted that Kelly has joined the senior management team at Children's Friend,” said Caprio. “Her experience in program evaluation and professional development will serve the agency well as we continue to grow and expand our services to Rhode Island’s most vulnerable children and families.”

Wishart received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Castleton State College and a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership/Administration from Castleton State College.  She resides in Warwick.
