Kohl’s Cares

On July 21, 2008, the A-Team from the Kohl’s store located on Bald Hill Road in Warwick visited Children’s Friend.  The group visited our Central Falls Family Support Center and read Dr. Seuss books to the wide eyed children in child care.  After storybook time, each child was presented with a stuffed animal related to the stories to take home with them.  Children’s Friend received over 650 stuffed animals to distribute to the children the agency serves through its many programs. 

Kohl’s associates form A-Teams of volunteers to support local children’s charities. Kohl’s rewards and supports the team’s participation with a $500 corporate grant given directly to the charity.

The outreach was organized and attended by Therese Sloane, John Hall, Jen Carrol, and Paula Tartaglione Hall.  Thank you, Kohl’s associates, for assembling the A-Team of volunteers and the donations which brought joy to the children we serve.
