PROVIDENCE, R.I. – David Caprio, Executive Director of Children’s Friend, has announced that Lee Grossi has joined the agency as Administrator, Finance.

In his new role, Grossi is responsible for all aspects of the agency's financial management, information services and property management functions.

Prior to joining Children's Friend, Grossi held various positions in state government including Budget Officer for the State of Rhode Island, Secretary of Health and Human Services, and Interim Rite Care Director.

“We are delighted that Lee has joined the senior management team at Children's Friend,” said Caprio. “His experience with large scale financial management systems will serve Children’s Friend well as we continue to expand our services to the most vulnerable children and families in Rhode Island.  In these increasingly complex and challenging times, we are thrilled to have Lee’s knowledge, experience, and leadership working to support our mission.”

Grossi received a Bachelor of Economics degree from Providence College and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Rhode Island.  He resides in Greenville.
