Last week, Children’s Friend was the proud recipient of a large furniture donation from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Rhode Island.

Blue Cross, a Rhode Island non-profit, is moving into new office space. They are donating their used office furniture to other Rhode Island non-profits. This is part of a “Green” initiative at Blue Cross and also a way for them to support other Rhode Island non-profits.

As we continue to put the infrastructure in place to support our expanding services, this donation could not have come at a better time for us. We are putting the donated desks, chairs, and file cabinets to immediate use.

Children’s Friend has many people and organizations to thank for keeping us strong. Blue Cross is one recent example.
