Children's Friend Promotes David Caprio

To President and Chief Executive Officer PROVIDENCE, R.I. – On May 26, 2010 Carl R. Neal, Chairman of the Board of Directors, announced that David Caprio, of Smithfield, has been promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer.

Caprio has been with Children’s Friend for the past decade in a number of key roles: originally hired as Finance Director in 2000, David was promoted to Director of Finance and Administration in 2003, Associate Executive Director in 2006 and appointed Executive Director in 2007.

“David has displayed the sincere passion and leadership that exemplifies the mission of delivering the very best of practice to the children and families that we serve. His humility, his honest openness and ready willingness to push forward for children leads the 176 years of our history well into the future” said Carl R. Neal.
