Commissioner Gist Visit

Deborah Gist, Rhode Island Commissioner of Elementary and Secondary Education, visited a few Children’s Friend classrooms recently. Commissioner Gist enjoyed participating in circle time and her skills at the art table were closely watched by her new friend. Ms. Gist is a perfect example of going right to the source for the knowledge you need for change. Everyone enjoyed her very special visit.
