Clinical Services provides culturally competent mental health services for vulnerable children and families, as well as the staff supporting them. We promote the healthy social and emotional development of children of all ages. We have special expertise working with young children who have histories of trauma and loss as well as children who have experiences with the child welfare system and adoption.
Our clinicians provide individual counseling, family counseling, play therapy and parenting support. Counseling is offered in the office and can be offered – in some cases – in the home or in community settings.
Through our clinical consultation model called Kids Team, our psychiatrist Jim Greer and clinical consultant Bob Hagberg provide multiple opportunities to discuss your work together as a team and develop new ideas and directions.
We additionally provide support in the classrooms through a therapeutic service called Kids Connect. Along with this support system, during the school year we run “Feelings Groups” for kids who may benefit from groups focused on how to name and manage emotions.
We accept Blue Cross, United Health, NHP, Medicaid and Rite Care insurance, as well as self-paying clients.
