Qualifications: HS Diploma/GED required. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must have ability to: follow directions and safety regulations, work a varied schedule, speak and understand English, read and interpret documents such as instructions, policies and procedures, write routine work orders and reports, and deal effectively and courteously with others. Good driving record, driver’s license and auto insurance with appropriate limits and liabilities required.
Description: Work with the Director of Facility Services to ensure safety and maintenance of all buildings and occupants. Submit work orders as needed to arrange repairs for building structure, heating and air conditioning, electrical system, lighting, plumbing, sprinkler systems, etc. Maintain facilities, both internally and externally, including but not limited to bathrooms, cleaning general areas, floors, etc. Maintain agency truck, if appropriate, and keep cleaning supplies stocked and maintained. Respond to work orders such as; changing light bulbs, replacing light switches, moving furniture, landscaping, power washing, grounds maintenance, and assisting Maintenance Technician.
