Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required. Three to five years of direct service experience in working with vulnerable children and/or families preferred. Two to three years of professional experience in administrative support, database management, data analysis and report writing preferred. Must have strong organizational skills, computer skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have a valid driver’s license, auto liability insurance and a car to be used for work-related tasks. Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred. Must have the ability to support flexible hours.
Description: Assist the programmatic leadership in the departmental tasks that ensure the timely and effective provision of services to clients, which may include, but is not limited to, maintaining databases and calendars, monitoring outreach to clients for recruitment and retention, data analysis, ordering supplies, and other programmatic support. Support the nursing, family development and teaching teams in ensuring families have full access to community services, eliminate any barriers to full participation in programs, and support meaningful parental involvement. In partnership with programmatic leaders and/or the nursing team, provide mandatory and appropriate screenings to children within required timeframes, including height/weights, vision, hearing, etc. Serve as the primary liaison with families and physicians in obtaining needed documentation and/or supporting referral follow-up. Identify and maintain community health resources and eligibility requirements for accessing those resources. Develop community relationships to ensure access and utilization of programs.
