Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. Must be able to collaborate professionally in the efficient and effective operation of the WIC office and maintenance of WIC participants’ needs. Must have intermediate computer skills and at least one year of experience of administrative support. Must be bilingual in English and Spanish. Additional language proficiency preferred.
Description: Evaluate and attend to participants’ needs in person and by answering incoming calls, responding to voicemail messages, making daily appointment reminder calls and documenting appropriately. Screen WIC applicants for eligibility and enter information into WIC database. Ensure that all required documentation is accurately completed as is appropriate. Acquaint prospective participants with the WIC program rules and answer questions they may have. Perform intake measurements on participants’ including height and weight and hemoglobin tests.
