Save and Return

In our May 7th and June 4th blogs the Office of Strategy Management at Children’s Friend referenced the work of the Center on the Developing Child at Harvard University.

Continuing on that theme, we’d like to make folks aware of the newest project at the Center.

On June 11, 2019 the Center on the Developing Child at Harvard launched a new effort entitled “Serve and Return”. Serve and Return are a set of activities that caregivers can do with babies and young children. These activities help build strong neural connections in the developing brain, that are so vital for executive functioning, self-regulation, and resilience.
