We woke up this past Monday morning to a coating of wet, white, wonder (also known as snow) on our grass and cars. Thankfully, not enough of it fell to disrupt getting to school or work for most of us. What it did though, was remind me that not everyone will have what they need to stay warm and dry this winter.
One of the most important things the Spirit of Giving Holiday Drive (#HOPEANDJOY) does is provide warm coats, hats, mittens, and other clothes, to keep kids safe from the winter weather. Children’s Friend has been blessed with many donations already this year to share with families in need, but there is always more we could do.with your help.
There are so many ways you can support a family in need! You can drop off a donation of warm clothing at Children’s Friend or at our holiday gift wrapping station at Providence Place Mall. You can choose to sponsor a family directly or make a monetary gift by going to our Spirit of Giving Holiday Drive webpage.
Whatever way you choose to support a family in need, we thank you in advance for your continued generosity.
