Advocating for Our Youngest and Most Vulnerable

One of the core principals of Children’s Friend is that we are Advocates, taking a leadership role in educating policymakers and the public on the needs of the youngest and most vulnerable children, even when it means taking risks for the benefit of children.

In support of this principle, last week we testified in the Rhode Island House of Representatives on four bills that would have an impact on our work in the community. This is the beginning of what will be a busy legislative season for us, advocating for our youngest and most vulnerable.
