The challenges and devastation of the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic are thankfully at least partially offset by the caring and generosity that exists in our community. Many families in our area are already experiencing food shortages and hunger. A large number of the families we serve at Childrenās Friend are struggling with not having adequate food at this time.
Our long-term partner, Panera Bread, encountering their own challenges during this crisis, have once again stepped forward to help others. Every weekday, Panera Bread is delivering 100 meals to Childrenās Friend. Our staff then deliver these meals to families in need. It is inspiring to see how our community continues to come together in new and innovative ways to support our youngest and most vulnerable. Thank you for your generous efforts in these trying times.
