Introducing The Brain Architects!

You don’t have to be an architect to know that in order to construct a house, you need to start at the bottom with a foundation.  In the same way, the early years of a child’s life provide the foundation for their entire lives as adults and community members.  That’s the big idea behind the Harvard Center for the Developing Child’s new podcast, The Brain Architects.

Here at Children’s Friend, the science of brain development informs how we work with and advocate alongside families.  We’ve known for a long time how important childhood is, but new brain science tells us just how crucial early environments, relationships, and experiences are for kids’ health and well-being throughout life.  All kids deserve a great start – and that’s why we do what we do.
