High-quality early childhood environments are critical for children’s health and well-being, and as we operate classrooms in the pandemic, the safety of our children and staff is our number one priority. After a brief pause in providing child care early on, Children’s Friend developed policies and protocols allowing us to return to safely operating classrooms in stable pods. With daily health screenings, mask-wearing, and enhanced cleaning protocols we have been successfully welcoming children to our sites since June 2020.
At Children’s Friend, experienced degreed teachers and teacher assistants work as a team in each classroom. All of our classrooms are culturally and linguistically responsive and nurses are available on-site to answer any health-related concerns. Additionally, children receive healthy and nutritious meals and snacks approved by the USDA. Our classroom curriculum is designed to promote social-emotional development and ensure school readiness.
