We Are Hiring! And It’s A Pretty Great Place to Work…

IMG_9203

The challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic continue to be felt by many of us. The workforce shortage, whether directly or indirectly resulting from the pandemic, is the latest challenge. We have all seen news reports of container ships waiting in ports to be unloaded, school bus routes with no drivers, and restaurants closing due to not enough staff. Thankfully, Children’s Friend has not had to curtail any core services to our kids and families. At least not yet! Though, we too are experiencing the impacts of the workforce crisis. We have more open positions and it is taking much longer to fill them.

Please help us out. If you know of someone looking for work, or looking for a new position, in a mission-focused organization – send them our way. Perhaps you are looking for a part-time position, a few hours a week, – give us a call. We would love to have you as part of our employee family.

Providence Business News has rated us as a “Best Place To Work”, a “Healthiest Employer”, and RI’s most Innovative Nonprofit. I will add Flexibility to that. You will be surprised by how flexible we can be.

Whether you are a nurse, social worker, educator, nutritionist, custodian, receptionist, or one of the many other disciplines that help to support our kids and families, check out our jobs page here.

We offer great benefits, a great work environment, a true family culture, we invest in and develop our staff, we support each other, we have fun, and most importantly, working together, we make life better for Rhode Island’s youngest and most vulnerable young children. What could be more rewarding than that?

If you see a position that interests you and you are qualified for, apply. Even if you can’t work full time, even if you can only work a few hours a day, even if you can only work a couple of days a week, I am sure we can work something out.

We want the best and the brightest for our kids and families no matter how many hours per week that is.

Thanks, David

David Caprio – President and Chief Executive Officer
